Every small business has an origin story. Some start in boardrooms. Some start in garages. The good ones usually start with curiosity and a stubborn desire to build something with your own hands.
Driftwood 3D Printworks started exactly that way.
I’m a first responder and a new dad who discovered 3D printing and immediately fell down the rabbit hole. What started as a hobby—learning how printers work, experimenting with materials, and dialing in settings—quickly turned into a passion for creating useful, fun, and unique products that people actually enjoy using.
Working in emergency services teaches you a lot about problem solving and attention to detail. When something needs to work, it needs to work right. That mindset carries over into everything I design and print. Every item that leaves my printers is something I’ve tested, refined, and produced with the same care I’d expect if I were the customer.
Most of the products you’ll find here are designed with real people in mind—families heading to theme parks, collectors who want to display their items, or anyone looking for a unique gift that you can’t just grab off a big box store shelf. From custom stroller tags to headband holders, flexi animals, and themed display pieces, everything is made to be practical, durable, and a little bit fun.
Being a small business also means something important: when you order from Driftwood 3D Printworks, you’re supporting a real person, not a warehouse. Every design, print, and package is handled personally to make sure it’s something I’m proud to send out.
The name Driftwood 3D Printworks reflects the idea that great things can come from unexpected places. Just like driftwood shaped by time and tide, every product here is the result of experimentation, refinement, and creativity.
Thanks for supporting a small business and being part of the journey.
